If you haven’t heard about the story of a 7-year old child being suspended from Park Elementary in Baltimore, Maryland, than you have missed out on the American society at work. To quickly walk you through the story; Joshua Welch, a second grader was quietly chewing on his Pop Tart at lunch time when one of the teachers accused him of nibbling the pastry into a gun shape. One thing led to another and his story became national news. It is one thing to ponder about the implications of where the American society is headed, but this section of our site does not go there. Instead we have compiled some of the funniest responses people left on numerous sites after hearing and reading about this ‘violent crime’.
As added information the school made sure to express their point with the following statement they made after the incident:
“Park Elementary told parents it would give counseling to any children who needed it after the Pop-Tart incident.”
